Why ‘Kayu’?

Kayu Craft feels like an extension of who I am and the journey I’ve been on. 'Kayu' means 'wood' in Malay, the country where my mum grew up. I wanted to pay tribute to her. At Kayu Craft, I take furniture that is worn or damaged and make it beautiful again.
